Sunday Series - A few links for you.

I thought I'd let you guys in on a few of the blogs and some individual post's that I've loved reading this week. My advice is: Get yourself a cuppa (maybe some buscuits if you feel so inclined), get all cosy and get reading some of these lovely post's, It'll make your Sunday night lovely and make the Monday Morning blues that little bit easier to deal with. Enjoy!

Josie blogged her favourite ways to style one of the most classic items you can have in your wardrobe, the Breton top. I love how she's created three different looks in her usual chic style and proved you can wear classics on a night out . Check it out here.

I've also come across the lovely Velia's Blog this evening actually and I can't stop reading, Her pictures are gorgeous and I love her love for her home city. You can read Cocoamourr here, I promise you'll keep clicking the next button too.

I've been loving Charissa's blog for a while and her style is gorgeous, I fully blame this post for the fact that I've spent the last hour searching for my perfect little red dress.

I love me some good nail art and I find that Caroline's blog is the place to go for creative but easy to follow tuturials. I love her Strawberry, Cath Kidston Inspired and Polka Dot Bows tutorials and once my nails have grown I will be walking round with Strawberry nails one day no matter how many attempts it takes me (Nail art is not my forte.)

Hope you all had a great weekend and let me know if you guys have any recommendations of blogs you think are great.

Sunday Series-Life Lately

This past week or so has been pretty hectic and also very bittersweet. I've finished my teaching internship at the college I studied at myself for four years and while I'm happy to be moving on to bigger things, It's a sad feeling to say goodbye to the people who have helped shape me to be the person I am today. They took me on as a shy sixteen year old who was to afraid to speak to anyone and I'm leaving as someone who can stand in front of a class of thirty and tell them to pipe down and listen, which Is a new quality that I am extremely grateful for. Most of my time this week has been taken up by the end of year show, my fifth and my last, which involved a lot of hard work (have you ever cut out 50 black capes, 30 bow ties and a flowerpot whilst also trying to rehearse pieces including a secret one that only the tutors can know about? No, Just my life then) so I've been slightly MIA this week. I have a few posts up my sleeve for next week so I'll be returning to my usual blogging but for today I'll leave you with a few links to posts that I have enjoyed reading and watching this week.

- Caroline Hirons is the name on every bloggers lips at the moment and of course anyone else who is looking to sort out their problem skin and as I've been shoving more junk food into my mouth in this week than I ever have in my life and have been constantly wearing at least two layers of stage makeup she is also who I turned to in order to sort out my face which is not happy with me. No, I wasn't lucky enough to get an appointment with her however I have been scouring her 'Cheat Sheets' for advice and my skin is now back on track. You can read Caroline's Blog here and if your looking for any kind of fix her cheat sheets can be found here.

-Zoe is one of my favourite Bloggers/Youtuber's and I love finding out about other people's makeup routines. Inquisitive, Nosy whatever you want to call it, I just love finding out about the products people love and why so luckily Zoe has posted her everyday routine for us all to watch and enjoy here.

-After indulging in way too much junk this week I've decided to go back to my usual, mostly healthy, ways and have planned all my meals out and made my shopping list that's basically everything in the fruit and vegetable section of asda, so far so healthy. However one can't live off of fruit and veg alone so I've decided to do a spot of baking so I'm going to try my hand at Rosie's Really Bananary Banana Cake because it looks delicious and I can kid myself it's healthy because hey, it's got fruit in there. I also highly recommend that you all checkout the rest of Rosie's Blog , Cider With Rosie and especially all of her yummy recipes.

- Last but not least, here's some pretty shoes to look at because Charlotte Dellal at Charlotte Olympia know's exactly what she's doing when it comes to designing whimsical heels. I was originally going to link you to the Delphine Heels but then I saw the rest of them and I decided just to point you guys in the direction  of all the shoes. Enjoy (also how cute are the animal print kitty flats?)

Hope you guys have had a good week, which posts have you enjoyed reading this week?

Happiness is a Sunday #2

I hope you guys are having a lovely bank holiday weekend and have been enjoying the sunshine.
Here's the things that have been making me happy this week:

1. The sunshine, Nothing makes everyone happier than a little bit of sunshine.
2. Having an impromptu Bbq with my mama, we decided to have one after smelling someone else's and half an hour later we had it going.
3. I bought a blender so now I'm going to be obsessed with smoothies this summer- Strawberry, banana and mango was a hit.
4. Had my first frappachino of the year - Triple Caramel - it was beautiful, I love Starbucks happy hour!
5. Getting to see the second years perform their musical theatre  production - They all did so well!
6.Spending time with Jon - Even if we did end up staying cuddled up in bed all evening because of the rain, I'm not complaining.
7.It's payday this weekend so I may be taking a little trip to Zara.
8. Finally decided what I want to do and where I want to go next year, fingers crossed it all works out!
9.My cold has finally gone away (and left me with with a lovely coldsore, boo!) but I'm finally feeling bouncy and ready to take on the world again.
10. Millies Cookies, I don't think I need to say anything else. Except try their coconut and milk chocoate cookie, it's amazing!

What's been making you happy this week?

Sharing the Love on Sunday

I've decided that from now on I'm going to dedicate my Sunday posts to all things positive, I'm going to be carrying on with my happiness is a Sunday and life in instagram posts but I also wanted to start some new ones - A post about a few of my favourite blogs this week and  few de-stressing posts to get all of you into a positive mood before the dreaded Monday morning rolls around and the blues set in. I'm going to be doing this every few weeks and labelling all my posts as Sunday Series and I hope you guys find some new blogs to love as much as I do.

Sade's blog was one of the first blogs I started reading after I joined blogger and I'm still loving her posts and positive outlook. Her photography skills are amazing (you can vote for her for best use of photography in the company style awards) and this girl knows how to put an outfit together like nobodies business. She's always there with a kind comment and also has a penchant for green tea and onesies and you just can't fault that in a person.
Find her blog here.

I have major wardrobe envy every time Hannah posts, she has great personal style and the most gorgeous accessories, definitely a must read for anyone who likes to see outfit posts that are a bit different, this girl doesn't shy away from wearing what she wants.
Find her blog here.

I love Maddies style, she's another who doesn't shy away from wearing what she likes. Her personal style is a breath of fresh air, fun and colourful are two words that spring to mind and her outfits are always accompanied by little tidbits about the goings on in her life.
Find her blog here.

Maddies blog is a mixture of fashion and life posts accompanied by lovely pictures and I don't really know how a blog can be relaxing to read but hers really is, so easy to end up reading post after post. Her outfits are always lovely too look at as she has a great eye for colours and textures and she always has something positive and lovely to say.
Find her blog here.

I love Helen's unique and down to earth style and her posts about recent holidays and dream destinations give me the worst case of wanderlust. Alongside her lovely outfit posts she also blogs about beauty and different things going on in her life. Definitely one to read if you like a bit of variety in your reading.
Find her blog here.

So that's this weeks round up, I hope you've all had a good read, let me know if you have any blogs to recommend for my Sunday afternoon reading.
